I recently returned from a trip to Sevilla, Spain where I had the pleasure of tasting some wonderful paella. I have never been terribly fond of rice, so I was initially skeptical of trying the dish. I was very surprised to find out how much I really liked the dish. Maybe I just had to go to Spain before I could truly appreciate paella. Less than a week after I returned home, I was out purchasing a paella pan and combing through recipes to find one that was similar to what I thought I had in Sevilla. I ended up combining several ingredients and directions to come...
