Welcome to my soupbase blog.  Soup base is also referred to as soupbase, food base and bouillon cubes.  Mix soup base with water and it becomes stock or broth.  No wonder there is confusion about soup base and how to use it.  I decided to create this blog to promote the many uses of soup base.  Not only because it is my livelihood, I own a company that manufactures soup base, but also because soup base is very versatile and can be used to add flavor to just about anything.

I will be writing about dishes that I prepare from recipes I find or recipes that are submitted to me.  I plan to include entries regarding dishes I eat at restaurants and interviews with chefs and foodservice professionals.

My goal is to provide information and education about soup base and its many uses.  I will, of course, be using Cook’s Delight soup base products when making my dishes.  You can find information at Integrative Flavors or Cook’s Delight on all products I use.
